The acting was phenomenal
I expected some tension in the theater, but there was none, which was a relief. Overall, I didn’t get any political emotions from the movie. As for accuracy, I can’t really say, but in the current American climate, what is actually accurate? Some of the cast and production crew will likely take home awards, if not the film itself.
It was interesting to look into his life
The story was decent, not too exciting, but interesting because the main character was once a president, and everyone has an opinion about him. Many of them were based on reality, though who really knows. It didn’t seem far off, but there were definitely some cold, crazy moments. It’s basically about how Trump became Trump, which isn’t fundamentally interesting, but the spell is revealing.
look at such a private figure
Private in the sense that we never know if what he says is true. In fact, this is one of his mantras according to the film. The movie didn’t sway my political views, but I recommend watching it if only to support a team that risked a backlash.
